Progress to heavy weight only when you feel that your strength is increasing , if not then try to stick at the same weight , means If you can do all 3 sets of 12 reps it’s time to increase the weight. If you do set 1 of 12 reps, set 2 of 10, and set 3 of 8, then do not try to increase your weight. Give your muscles some rest approx. 90 to 100 seconds between every exercise.
